Before you start
What you’ll need.
You don’t need everything to get started. Lodge what you have and your broker will help fill in the rest. Handy to have on hand:
- Your policy number (it’s in your account)
- What happened: the date, place and a short description
- Photos of any damage, if you have them
- Any quotes, invoices or receipts for repairs or replacement
- A police or event reference, for theft or break-ins

You don’t face the insurer alone. Whether a claim is payable depends on your policy’s terms and the circumstances, and your broker will talk you through it, put your case forward, and push for a fair, timely outcome.
Something urgent?
If anyone’s hurt or there’s a safety risk, call emergency services first. For a break-in or theft, report it to the police and note the reference. Then lodge your claim, or reach us and we’ll help you through it straight away.
